The NY Giants are about to sign David Terrell (I know you guys are saying who the hell is that) the a first round pick of the bear 4 years ago. In his first 4 years in the NFL he caught 40 passes for 600 yards and 8 touchdowns, WHAT A GREAT MOVE

That kid's got intensity. If I had a guy like that when I was with the Jets, we would definitely have won that elusive second game in '96.

I'm going to move this and a few other threads to the Randomosity section. Hopefully we can get enough sports fans on this forum to warrant making a Sports section.
Nice post Kotite.

Kotite we did have a player like that. Remember Ryan Yarborough or Charles Wilson? Or how bout the fact that your receiver corps was so inept that you wound up starting Wayne Chrebet in your first year as coach ... an undrafted free agent from a Hofstra. It's probably the best move you made during your tenure, but be truthful there were plenty of guys like Terrell.

Wayne was great. I'm very proud of the fact that our scouting department--...er, I mean, I...that I found him.
We were on the cusp. Every game during that '96 season...we were right there. I could feel it. That turning point was just around the corner.
If the season had been just a few weeks longer...If we played just a few more games...20 or 35 games down the line, we would've righted the ship. No doubt about it.

I'm calling you out Kotite. The great Dick Haley found Chrebet and Charles Mann your receivers coach at the time had to convince you to try him out. You were a miserable coach and were even worse at bringing in personnel. Admit it here once and for all. Blast you Kotite!

David Terrell ain't half bad. I still can't believe we let Ed McCaffrey slip away. Lay off my good friend Kotite.

I heard about the abusive onslaught on my good friend Coach Kotite and I had to come to his defense. I have no reason to hide. In two years with the Giants I was 14-18. That's still more than four times the amount of wins Kotite had in his two years with the Jets. Sorry Rich I can't help it.
