Yet again taking suckitude to a new level, the Jets did everything in their power to give the appearance of competance before snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Thank you, New York Jets, for adding a kudo to the history of the Pittsburgh Steelers franchise.

Yay for hiring Mike Heimerdinger as the new Offensive Coordinator. Coming from the Titans, he took them to the AFC Championship a few years ago, and was on the coaching staff when the Broncos won two Super Bowls.
Reportedly, he spurned the Titan's re-up offer saying, "I want to go to the Jets." Famous last words man. You may rue this day not before long. There's a reason Bill Belichick is one of the greatest NFL coaches in history, not the least of which was ditching the Jets when he could.

By the way, can we please NOT resign that gutless, injury-prone John Abraham? How many players CHOOSE not to play in a playoff game? Twice yet.
I call him Danger-prone Daphne.

As a wise man once said (AKA Pete The Hook) "The Jets just know how to lose."

Thank christ we got a kicker. For a second there, I thought we might need offensive line and defensive help.

Did you hear about their third pick? He's not that good, needs a little work, but he did save a woman from a burning building and he was on mission for the morman church for two years. He'll be a 26 year old rookie. Apparently after they drafted Justin Miller who has several brushes with the law the Jets sought to balance things out and draft a jesus freak.

yeah, this was a 2-player draft for the Jets. And one of those is a kicker, so it's a 1.5-player draft.

they signed some undrafted free agents but thats about it. I hope they make a run for Ty Law. It looks like more and more Donnie Abraham is going to retire so we need to really consider bringing in a top notch corner.
