Can't complain so far. Jordan wasn't going to stay and I guess Fergeson wanted too much money. Still didn't want to franchise Abraham. But the RB from the Chiefs is fine to replace Jordan.
Still need: CB, big WR, keep O-line intact. I don't think they'll get a CB or WR in free agency. Probably have to draft one or the other.

I'm looking forward to contributions from Lance Legree. I wonder what Rich Kotite thinks of the JetS offseason so far?

I can't wait to see his patented "give up 30 points" defense.

You better believe it, Cris. Our guys are gonna be swarmin all over the field. We're gonna break it down to the basics: smash mouth football. We're also gonna run the Statue of Liberty play 5 times a game.
We're also gonna try to run out the clock in the 1st quarter.

How does it feel knowing Leon Hess died with a bitter taste in his mouth because of you? And when you make your come back will you dedicate your first season to him?
And will you say BUCK STOPS HERE! at the press conference.
Sad that he died in the mist of the worst business decision of his life.

Yes Sir! The Jets signed Jay Fiedler to back up Oft injured Chad Pennington. I'm actually happy with this move. Fiedler is not a great quarterback, but he certainly is the best the offseason had to offer. He's durable. He's got a lot of heart and he's got BALLS! Good pick up for sure man. And I reallly believe that if Pennington goes down (and he will) the season is not lost. We got a shot. So a five year deal worth 2.5 million thats not that bad.
What do you think Kotite?

I would've tried to get Heath Schuler.

Or Ryan Leaf right ?
What about Anthony Becht going to Tampa on a five year deal?
Ken Dilger coming for a visit I always thought he was a good TE.
You played TE didn't u Kotite?
McAwesome feel free to chime in as well. I'd like to hear what another miserable Jet fan thinks.

Kotite's right. Heath Schuler was the correct move here.
Kidding.
I can't complain about Jay Fiedler. To be honest, I thought he'd sign with some crappy team to be the starter. But this'll work. Should we start a deadpool on when Chad will go down this season?
(actually, I think I will...)
