Welcome to the 2004 Awesome Awards (better title pending).
Nominate your fave, I'll cull the results and put up a poll in a few weeks.
The nomination should be one specific game (e.g., game 4 Red Sox vs Yankees, not the entire ALCS).

Let me start: As a Yankee fan, I can't in all good conscience vote for the Red Sox winning game 4 of the ALCS (that was the horrible turning point).
So let me say Patriots over Carolina in the Super Bowl. The Patriots are a sheer joy to watch (despite being a Jets fan). Let me rephrase, except for the two times a year they play the Jets, the Patriots are a joy to watch.
Free agency being what it is, winning two out of the last three Super Bowls is the modern equivalent of a dynasty.

Best event ... Boston Vs. New York in June. The game where the Yankees came back in Extra Innings and Jeter dived into the stands after making a catch that was by far the best Regular Season game I've ever seen.
