National NHL games will be broadcast this year on something called the Outdoor Life Network. Has anyone ever heard of this? They chose to go with OLN because they paid 70 million for the package and ESPN chose not to match the offer. What the hell is OLN? Last time I checked Hockey was an indoor sport.
I'll say this. ESPN never did anything to promote the games. So I can care less that they are not on ESPN anymore. Unfortunately the national broadcast will probably be produced like college hockey. Grainy video etc.. etc...
The other beef I have is that Doc Emerick and John Davidson will be the broadcast team for NBC and OLN games. I hate Emerick he sucks ass. Why can't anyone see that Sam Rosen (Davidson's current partner at MSG) has talent? Why split a team up that has worked and been together for ohh I don't know 15 years. It absolutely angers me. It never makes sense.
Good luck to OLN.

Give us a break, eh. They were the only network that thought we had any value. They'll find out soon enough that they were wrong and we'll crawl back to ESPN.
We still got Hockey Night In Canada on TSN.

OLN? Will the NHL bring in better ratings than Motocross?
At the moment, I'm more interested in Iron Chef reruns.
Regardless, you'll set up a fantasy league when it starts, eh? I want to lose. Badly.

We regularly get more interest in the flag football games we hold here at The Pit.
