I told you this McAwesome in a recent issue of Details Magazine Mark Wahlberg was asked if he'd make a movie about his hometown Boston and his upbringing one day. Here's his answer.
"My childhood wasn't like some 8 Mile bulls**t where you go and have a rap-off.
"Or like West Side Story, where you all start dancing and s**t. If I make a film about my upbringing it's going to be about more than a f**king kid doing math, like in Good Will Hunting, you know what I mean?"
NICE. Although I enjoyed Good Will Hunting I got to admit he hit it right on the head. He went on to say how those movies were romantisized and it should have been more truthful of the grittiness of their lives before they were actors.
Actually his brother Donnie (thats right the guy from New Kids On the Block) is a good actor. He made this movie called Southie about South Boston. It was pretty good. Some of you might enjoy it.

I still say 8 Mile wasn't too bad of a movie. (and I normally hate Eminem) It certainly wasn't romanticized at all. In fact, his love interest turns out to be quite the whore.
