Ed Randle's Talking Baseball makes me want to poke out my eardrums with a fork.
If getting this guy off the air required a 6-year player's union strike, and then the Red Sox winning the next 42 World Series, I'm all for it.
make it stop make it stop make it stop make it stop
UPDATE: jesus tapdancing christ, now he's interviewing two umpires.

I always get suckered in because I'm waiting for Francesa sunday show. But then there are days like today where the two Eds take over. Randle for the worst talk show in the history of radio and then Ed Coleman's Mets Funhouse.
I lost and I lost big.

Francessa only does a sunday show during the football season. I've never heard him on a Sunday during the offseason.

I'm pretty sure he did scattered shows throughout the NFL offseason, particularly around free agency and draft days.
He used to do the draft show with Russo on the first day. I miss that.

He's a family man now. You think Roe and the twins would allow that?

Now we got Ann Ligori's Golf Radio Extravaganza where she ignores every single sport no matter how important for her sycophantic coverage of the links.
Can we get Tony Page on here and make it the perfect awful sports radio day?
(maybe that's too mean, Tony Page hasn't been too bad lately)

You know whats bad every Sunday ... like really early there is this guy that comes on, I don't know whether he pays for air time or its like a PSA, but he does like a two to three hour show about religion and sort of works sports into it so it kind of sounds like it belongs on the station. He's absolutely horrible. See you're not up early enogh to hear that. He'd be on from like 530 to maybe 9am. It's so freakin' bad.
I was coming back from somewhere one morning and it was like a two hour ride and I had been listening to the overnight guy and then boom I got hit with this. He was even talking with the 20/20 announcer so I thought it was just a segment he was doing. Turns out the whole show was about good ol' God.
See that's where I think that maybe people like Ann Ligouri and Ed Randle might actually pay for air time. They're so hard up about being heard that they'll pay. You never know. You just never know. Least they got rid of Jody Mac.
