I've been sucked into a crippling addiction for this show.
My question is this: so, why are David and Sherry Palmer from seasons 1-3 now working in the CTU under different names and after shedding 20 years?

if i am correct each show is one day...so these threes season are just three days? as i can tell from the billboards and when i wander inside circuit city and watch in 5 minute increments until i get kicked out...i think this guy looks a lot like the head vampire from the lost boys...but he looks a lot more tan...that was a good movie...i wonder what happend to the two corys?

Yeah, but sometimes years take place in between seasons. Like before season 3, Jack decided to take some time to try and become a heroin addict. Self-determined man that he is, he succeeded. Good job, Jack.

And season 4 takes place a year after 3, IIRC

Not at all. This show isn't exactly shakespeare. You can get caught up pretty fast. Kiefer's got to save the world. See? Now you're caught up.
Newest episodes about to start in a few.

Is this the first 24 other than a season ending episode that ended somewhat on a high note?

Kiefer kicks still more ass. It's like...how much more ass can he kick? None. None more ass.

Okay, so after last night's episode everyone from last season is back (except Spawn and Charlie Brown--screw them, they don't count). But Chloe's still missing...damn it. The show is 76% less sarcastic without her.

This show could be improved by the inclusion of ninjas.

Ninja's are a fad of the past man. You are all past your prime.

Looks like Chloe (a.k.a. Potato Face) found herself some work outside CTU. I saw the last five minutes of the godawful "Kelsey Grammer Presents: The Sketch Show," and it looks like she's a regular there.
As a complete aside, when was it decided a) that Kelsey Grammer is funny, b) that he can do sketch comedy, c) that anybody wants to see Kelsey Grammer attempting to do sketch comedy, or 4) that the idea of Kelsey Grammer presenting anything is something America wants to see?
Back to 24. Fox needs to fire whatever orangutans they've got editing the commercials/promos for their shows. For most of this season, the 24 commercials have included what amounts to the final scene (or close to it) of every episode broadcast. Note to Fox: Sometimes when creative types make a TV show, and the silly writers add in little surprises and twists, and then somebody...say a director...goes ahead and shoots those twists...the intent is for the audience, upon viewing said show in "real time," to be taken aback with shock and glee. Putting those twists in the commercials days ahead of time makes you, People of Fox, a collective group of Ass-Clowns. Thank you.

Yeah, I looked her up on imdb, she has a bunch of comedy credits. I want to see more pouting damnit!!!
I literally turn the TV off or walk out of the room humming when those promos come on. I can't stand that.

Just watched the last two weeks of 24 in a glorious two-hour period. It's the best two consecutive hours I've had all year. How sad is that.
Damn it, Soulpatch, just when you get me on your side... what's with throwing a block Kiefer's way? You're talking to his girlfriend and then get all, "Jack likes field work, he won't change, some people prefer hell, etc." Nice. Nice work, dude. Way to be the wingman.
Thank christ Chloe's back. If they killed off every character on the show and renamed '24' the "Jack and Chloe Hour," I'd still watch every episode AND buy the damn DVD. Jesus, I've half a mind to get a bunch of screen captures and devote a page on Maximum Awesome to Chloe's pouty faces.
